Hotel Pikku is ran by Chelsy Whittington and Andy Matson who purchased the building in 2016. After remodeling it, they ended up with a stylish three suite hotel that values keeping things small. According to their website:

Hemlock Leatherworks can be found on the ground floor of the building. The shop is a is a one-woman operation by Candace Lacosse based in Duluth. According to the website:

Drawing inspiration from Lake Superior’s North Shore, the vast history of traditional shoemaking, and cultures around the world, Candace LaCosse crafts each leather good one at a time, with the finest materials and greatest care.
