Your Big Break? Movie Casting Call Looking For Extras In Duluth

Do you want to be a star? Maybe you just want to dip your toes into the acting world or do something fun this month. Whatever your reason may be, here's your shot!

A new casting call is calling for Duluth locals to take part in a movie filming in the area. At the moment, I have no idea what the movie is or what it is about - but I do know this is a pretty cool opportunity!

Filming begins as early as Friday (August 21st) so if you want to take part, hop on it as soon as you can! Email your availability and a recent headshot / photo of yourself to DuluthMovieExtras@gmail.com.

Casting Call For Movie Extras In Duluth - Details

There are three different filming times where movie extras are needed. The first is Friday (August 21st) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The second is on Monday (August 24th) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The third and final filming day where extras are needed this round will be Tuesday (August 25th) with two filming blocks: one from 6 a.m. to noon and another from noon to 6 p.m. There's a few different options if you want to take part.

I am excited to see which movie is being filmed here and what it's all about! There have been some good ones over the years. My personal favorite so far is definitely Merry Kiss Cam, which premiered on Hulu a few years ago.

Ever since, there have been Christmas movies filmed around the area, thrillers up the North Shore and that's barely scratching the surface. I have to watch them all but haven't made it that far yet. I will be adding this one to my list for sure.
