Wisconsin Is Home To One Of The Scariest Thrill Rides I’ve Been On
I've been on quite a few roller coasters in my life. I love the adrenaline rush you get when you go over that first drop. I've been on some pretty intense ones too. Some of those that come to mind are the Jurassic World VelociCoaster at Universal Studios, The Incredible Hulk, Aerosmith's Rockin' Roller Coaster, and some other regional rides.
In my opinion, Water Coasters Are Scarier
A couple of years ago I tried a new thing called an water coaster. It was my first time seeing one, and we were at Volcano Bay at Universal Studios. It was super fun, but there's something scary about not having rails on a coaster.
You literally sit in a boat-shaped tube and hold on for your life while the water swings you around.

Noah's Ark Black Anaconda - Longest water coaster in the nation.
This July we planned our family trip to Wisconsin Dells. We went to Noah's Ark water park, and we asked some locals for some tips. They said to go right away as soon as the park opens to the Black Anaconda. It's an intense water coaster, and according to Noah's Ark, it's the longest water coaster in the nation.
Going to Noah's Ark is a good workout because you've got to climb to the top of every water slide. The climb up to Black Anaconda gives you plenty of time to change your mind. Several people did when they got to the top because they made their way down the steps while we were on our way up. That's an ominous sign.
Before you ride on an aqua coaster you normally have to be weighed as a group. Don't worry, it's not giving out a number readout for everyone to see. It's just a green or red light when your group stands on the scale. There's a minimum weight and a maximum weight that you must fall in between. For the Black Anaconda at Noah's Ark, the minimum height requirement is 48", and the minimum weight is 250 pounds for the group, with a max of 600 pounds.
What makes the ride so thrilling is not only the drops and the fast turns but also the fact that you feel like the tube could spin out at times. Jets of water hit your face frequently, and the screams from other riders echo through the tubes, which at times are pitch black.
We didn't have much of a wait when the park opened right away, but by the end of the day, the long was getting pretty long. So if you do go to Noah's Ark, and you're brave enough, hit up Black Anaconda early.
