Daylight Saving may be fast approaching as we get ready to set our clocks ahead one hour on Sunday, March 9, followed by the official first day of spring on Thursday, March 20, but that doesn't mean that Old Man Winter is ready to move on.

While the end of the week will bring strong winds to much of Minnesota at the end of the week, more dangerous weather is expected in Northern Minnesota.

A nasty bout of winter weather is ready to hit the area to close out February, which has the strong potential to make travel very difficult and the National Weather Service has now issued an official warning.
