Has anyone else noticed that when we get notification of hazardous weather in the Northland they aren't using watches and warnings as much? When I started in radio I used my voice to explain the difference between the two. Now they've morphed to other descriptions and I'm not comfortable with them.
You didn't think we'd have rising temperatures without another blast of snow, did you? A President's Day storm is ready to hit the Northland, and the National Weather Service has changed the Winter Weather Advisory to a Winter Storm Warning.
We will see if my gut is correct. I thought our Sunday storm would not be too impressive, but our mid-week storm would pack the winter punch we've been lacking.
