City Of Duluth Crews Will Be Street Sweeping This Sunday

You'll probably forget because it's not until Sunday, but I'm going to do my best to forewarn you of the street cleaning schedule and locations of the City of Duluth.

They plan on starting early at 2:00 AM and work through the morning. Make note of when they'll be in your area. That will affect where you park, especially if you're coming home late on Saturday night and plan on sleeping in ;)

Spirit Valley Business District:

Grand Ave, from 63th Ave W to Central Ave.
Central Ave from Cody St. to the freeway.
Ramsey St., from Grand Ave to 53rd Ave W
Bristol St.

Lincoln Park Business District:

Superior St. from Grand Ave to Carlton St.
18th ,19th 20th, and 21St. Ave West from West Michigan to 1St. St.
Old (lower) Michigan St. from 20th Ave W to 17th Ave W.
Depending on progress, crews may try to tackle 1St. St. from Old Piedmont to 24th Ave W.

Downtown District:

E 2nd St. from 6th Ave E to 12th Ave E
E 1St. St. from 4th Ave E to 12th Ave E
Canal Park

As a reminder, the project areas must be cleared of vehicles. If cars are parked in the project areas, they will be ticketed and towed. That will NOT be a great way to start your week! There will be "No Parking" signs posted.
