Yesterday I went shopping for some dress shirts and ties at JCPenney.  Afterwards, my mom and I went to Best Buy in the Burning Tree Plaza to shop for a new Amazon Fire tablet.  Then it hit me.  The Amazon Fire tablet cost less than my necktie

Just a few years ago, tablets were hundreds of dollars.  Now you can literally have access to the world at your fingertips, with apps, games, watch movies, etc for less than the cost of a necktie.  The necktie was $42, the tablet was $39.99.

And to add to the madness, they offer a warranty you can purchase extra for your tablet.  Really? I'm going to pay to warranty a $40 device?  Maybe they should offer warranties for neckties at this point!
