The Duluth Police Department recently announced that there will be a free event that will educate the public on "Sextortion" on December 3rd. According to law enforcement agencies, sextortion is a growing problem with children being the victims in our community. Often times, it is adults who are manipulating children in to sending explicit images or videos of them over the internet.

The event takes place on December 3rd at the Duluth Public Safety Building, 2030 North Arlington Road in Duluth. It will be hosted by the United States Attorney's Office, and is free to the public. Space is limited, so you are encouraged to register ahead of time.
