A recent article has highlighted some cool places to visit across the United States. It breaks down the best destinations for tourists to go by each state. Living in Wisconsin, and seeing most of the state, I was curious to see what out-of-towners would say the best place to visit is.

World Population Review used data from Expedia to compile a list of the best destinations in each state. The data looked at how many travelers booked hotels near certain attractions and then compared them to the popularity of points of interest based on the search volume.

Wisconsin's Top Destination Is Kalahari Water Park

Kalahari Water Park is located in Wisconsin Dells. The Dells have something for everyone, and this indoor water park is the largest in the state.  World Population Review says families can enjoy miles of slides and rides no matter the time of year in the African safari-themed water park.

Apostle Islands Lakeshore is also listed as a top destination.

The Apostle Islands are one of the top outdoor destinations in Wisconsin. The Apostle Islands are on the shores of Lake Superior. You can kayak in the caves in the summer, and in the winter if conditions allow, you can walk on the ice and explore.
