Two Popular Taco Seasonings Recalled In Minnesota + Wisconsin
Think twice about making mexican food tonight.
Williams Food LLC is voluntarily recalling two of their popular taco seasonings due to the risk of Salmonella.
According to the FDA, the two brands in question are HEB and Great Value.
The first taco seasoning being recalled is Great Value Mild Taco Seasoning in a one ounce package. Keep an eye on 'best if used by' dates of July 8th and 9th of 2021.
The second brand is HEB Taco Seasoning Mix Reduced Sodium. This package is an ounce and a quarter and features 'better by' dates of July 10th, 11th and 15th of 2021.
These seasonings contain cumin, whose supplier issued a recall due to the possibility of Salmonella. They were also recalled in several other states including Arizona, Texas, Utah and Wyoming, among many others.
Salmonella causes vomiting, diarrhea, fever and nausea.
Just last week, Koch Foods recalled one of their fully cooked chicken products. I feel like the recalls never end!
