Grandma's Marathon recently lost two of it's dedicated Board Members to Pancreatic Cancer.  To remember Don Fennessy and Kevin Peterson there will be a new additional race to the Grandma's Marathon line-up.   Come run along the beautiful shores of Lake Superior and join in the fight to help find a cure for this devastating disease.

It's the first annual Park Point Beach Run 5K for Pancreatic Cancer on Saturday, September 21, 2013! You will run along both the trails and sandy shore of Lake Superior at Park Point. Beach attire is encouraged (but not required), so plan to come in your favorite festive beach wear and enter the contest for best dressed!

There is another incentive I should mention, especially if you are planning on running the Half Marathon next June.  Just by participating in the Park Point Beach Run 5K for Pancreatic Cancer you could win one of the 100 guaranteed entries into the 2014 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon!  WOW!

Most importantly, five dollars of every entry fee plus all net proceeds from this fun beach run will benefit the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.  That’s right – you could bypass the lottery for the 2014 race!

What are you waiting for?  Get signed up today!
