It's the best chip dip on planet Earth, and absolutely it should have its own celebration! That's the thought behind Top The Tater Days, coming back for the second year on June 25-28, 2026.

Kemp Farms Partners With Farmington, Minnesota, For Top The Tater Days

Kemp Farms is located in Farmington, Minnesota. They produce Top The Tater, the iconic dip only available in the Midwest. That's part of what makes it so special. They've teamed up with their community to bring us Top The Tater Days. It's the last weekend of June every year, and it's a road-trip-worthy festival.

The festival is packed full of events. Some of the highlights include craft fairs, Minnow Races, Car Shows, corn hole tournaments, bouncy houses, and other family fun events.

Top The Tater Scooping Contest

This separates the average Top The Tater fan from a pro. How much Top The Tater can you scoop onto a chip without it breaking? You can sign up at the Top The Tater Informational booth starting at 1:30 PM. There are limited spots available, so make sure you get there early! It happens Saturday, June 27th, from 2-2:30 PM. There's both a kids division and an adult division.

The Ten Commandments Of Top The Tater

'Top The Tater' is a staple for us here in the Midwest. I have never met a person who hasn't loved Top The Tater. However, there are people who don't understand the importance of how to eat it, and how to properly respect the little green container of joy.
