Things You Could Give Up To Become A Partner In Hope & Save Lives
Our St. Jude Radiothon is underway, and we are asking you to join us to become a Partner in Hope. St. Jude Children's research hospital is a wonderful place where they are saving kids' lives from catastrophic diseases. They share their research freely across the world in order to save as many kids as possible. No patient at St. Jude ever receives a bill. It's truly a remarkable place. You can be a part of the fight for a cure by becoming a Partner In Hope. It's just $20 on your credit card or debit card each month.
$20 a month really is quite easy to justify when it's for a good cause. You could just cut back on a couple different things in order to help kids fighting cancer. Here's a few examples!
Skip 1 Premium Coffee per Week
If you buy premium coffees everyday, that can really add up. And we're not saying you need to quit it all together. Just brew your own cup one day a week and you'll save $20 a month right there!
Brown Bag Your Lunch Twice A Month
The average quick lunch eating out costs about $10. Pack a sandwich twice a month and you can pay for being a partner in hope and helping St. Jude patients.
Skip One Happy Hour
If you are someone who enjoys a few adult beverages now and then, take a look at how much it adds up. You don't have to even drastically give up the habit, just skip a happy hour once a month and you'll more than save enough to become a partner in hope.
1 Delivery Pizza A Month
The other night we ordered a medium pizza, wings, and breadsticks and it was $40 with a tip. I could have paid double as a partner in hope by skipping a very unneeded late night snack. We felt guilty about it the next day, which is something you'll never feel when you donate to St. Jude.
