$500,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Was Just Bought In Wisconsin
It was a very profitable start to the week for someone who decided to purchase a Powerball ticket in a small Wisconsin city for the drawing on Monday, November 4.
Going into Monday night, the Powerball jackpot had grown to an estimated $63 million, and while nobody won the big grand prize someone in Wisconsin did win $500,000, which is still fantastic.
The winning Powerball numbers on November 4 were: 6-18-33-48-53. The Powerball was 21 and the Power Play was 10x, which came into play with this massive win.
To win $50,000 the winner would've matched 4 out of 5 white numbers and the match the Powerball number. So close to winning the jackpot! That's what happened Monday in Wisconsin and, lucky for the winner, they decided to pay an extra $1 for the Power Play.
$500,000 Winning Powerball Ticket Purchased In Waupaca
Waupaca, Wisconsin Waupaca is a city in and the county seat of Waupaca County. The population was 6,282 at the 2020 census. Someone in Waupaca made what turned out to be a smart decision to buy a Powerball ticket with the Power Play.
Since the Power Play was 10x on November 4, that extra $1 they paid turned a $50,000 win into a whopping $500,000 payday.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Kwik Trip in Waupaca, located at 226 W. Fulton Street.
Hopefully, the lucky winner still has that ticket and remembers to check those winning numbers! Since the jackpot was not won, the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, November 6 has grown to an estimated $75 million. Of course, that can grow as more tickets are purchased.
