Walking Dead

Argonne is an organization that studies how fast viruses like Ebola and MRSA could spread by using computer models.  To have a little fun, this fall they took a break and theoretically simulated how long it would take a zombie virus to spread over Chicago.  This short simulation is a little creepy.

I've still got a bad taste in my mouth after 'The Walking Dead' season finale.  It just plain stunk.  So I was a little nervous when it came to the finale of one of my other new favorites, 'Better Call Saul.'   Well I breathed a sigh of relief last night after they did a season finale like you should.  Wrap it up, but leave you wanting more.

You probably shouldn't eat anything while watching the gruesome flesh eating zombies, but these are definitely foods you shouldn't eat while watching 'The Walking Dead.'

If you're up to speed with the current season of 'The Walking Dead,' you'll recognize actor Ross Marquand.  I never knew that he had such good impersonations.  These will be sure to make you laugh!

The Walking Dead shows no signs of decay building up to its fifth season finale, and AMC isn’t about to stop that gravy train. Not only has the untitled spinoff, er … “companion series” been given an official series order, but already a Season 2 renewal and a summer 2015 premiere. Let jokes about “eating a dead horse” commence!

AMC has released the first two minutes of the mid-season return of 'The Walking Dead.'  Warning:  Spoilers ahead.

Every Monday a few of us at work spend a few minutes talking about last night's episode of the Walking Dead.  It's nice to bounce some theories off each other.  This week, Tony Hart, Nick Cooper, and myself came up with a few interesting points.

In the past 4 seasons we've watched Rick Grimes and whoever else that have survived turn into darker and darker characters.  Rick (out of necessity) bit a chunk of a guy's throat out last season, for crying out loud.  They have become cautious and weary of anyone new, but somehow still end up in their predicament in Terminus.

I previously mentioned how if you're a fan of the World War Z book by Max Brooks, you shouldn't give up on the Brad Pitt movie.  Well apparently I was wrong.  The second trailer strays even further from the book, and this looks like a pile of crap.  I hate to say it, because I would have loved to see the actual story of the book made into a movie.  Not this one man saves the day kind of crap. The confrontation came and went between Rick and The Governor, but not really.   We expected a full out battle, and what we got was a little more or less interesting... SPOILER ALERT!

So the big question is: how long can you milk a story line of an upcoming war?  I was hoping that things would get started between Rick and The Governor, but more tension building was what we got.  Don't get me wrong, there was some pretty good scenes and the episode held my attention, but it is clear that the main battle will be how we end Season 3.  It will be a guaranteed cliffhanger.

If you're a fan of The Walking Dead, you've been waiting since December for the show to return.  Sundays haven't been the same at our house, and there hasn't been much excitement about TV during the week.  All of that is about to change after you see this preview.  We're just 3 weeks out until Feb 10th!
