With media coverage, Facebook, Twitter, and everything else, you would believe that mass shootings at schools were increasing at an alarming rate. That doesn't appear to be the case according to a new study that shows that schools are safer than ever.
There has reportedly been a shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon, in which at least 10 people were killed, with some outlets reporting a death toll of as high as 15. The suspect is in custody. It's unclear if he or she was injured.
