You were wondering what to do with those bags of leaves sitting behind your house.  I know just the thing to do with them and it's free!  Plus, you'll be helping to secure a beautiful rose garden for residents and tourists to enjoy next summer.

You don't have to have a green thumb to help "tip the roses" at the Rose Garden in Duluth.  In fact, you could use this as a learning experience. Tipping roses needs to be done when the weather starts to turn cooler.  It helps to protect the plant, almost puts it in hibernation mode, if you will.  Can you help?

If you've been reluctant to cover your rose bushes with the colder weather, don't worry about it.  You can still have beautiful roses in your home thanks to the 28th year of the Rose Sale with Duluth's Rotary Club.  You'll be putting a smile on someone's face (or your own) for remembering them and being part of the big picture with community help.
