The Minnesota Twins just finished a disappointing season and today they announced that they will not be bringing Paul Molitor back to manage the team next season.

Paul Molitor was named AL Manager Of The Year at the end of the 2017 Major League Baseball season. Monday night, the Twins skipper accepted the honor.

After managing a Twins team that lost 103 games in 2016, Paul Molitor then managed a Twins team that had a historic turnaround and made a postseason appearance in 2017. On Tuesday, that leadership earned Molitor American League Manager Of The Year Honors.

When the Twins season ended a year ago, after losing a team record 103 games, there was speculation on whether they would fire manager Paul Molitor.  What a difference a year makes.
