The Marvel Cinematic Universe could have looked very different...

I finally had the time to get around to watching these blockbuster movies from the last couple of years. They are all available on HBO, and they are definitely worth the watch. Make sure to watch them before they leave.

The Jason Bourne franchise has always operated as a sort of response to the James Bond series. Right as Bond hit one of his lowest and silliest depths in Die Another Day in 2002, The Bourne Identity arrived on the scene as a sort of corrective; serious, dark, morally tortured. The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum followed, and so did 007, whose Casino Royale and especially Quantum of Solace aped the style and tone of Bourne.

I'm loving late night television options right now.  One show that I rotate to is The Late Late Show with James Corden.  I like the open chat format and the fun bits he does like this recent one with Matt Damon.

As we reported back in September, Universal has been planning a new 'Bourne' film with Paul Greengrass returning to the director's chair and Matt Damon returning to the role of Jason Bourne. The thing is, we hadn't heard anything official from Damon himself ... until now. The actor finally broke his silence in a recent interview to confirm his return to the 'Bourne' franchise.
