After a few years off due to Covid, this fantastic fundraiser is back at Fitger's and better than ever.

Being the hearty folks that we are in the Northland we eat ice cream all year long, but with spring right around the corner let's celebrate with Dairy Queen and a free cone.

Honestly who doesn't love the game show The Price is Right? I can't even imagine getting the chance to be a contestant,but now you have that chance right here in Minnesota.

The first of March marks the first day of Meteorological Spring!

Temperatures are causing an early spring melt. That means our time to ice fish is running out.

We had a record setting amount of snow in February, but we're not out of the woods yet. March is a snowy month historically, too.

The month is the subject of old folklore that says it will start and end in drastically different ways.

Earlier this week we had a long warm stretch where we saw most of our snow melt away.  It felt like spring 2 months earlier than normal.  A lot of people were excited and ready to put away the shovels and stow away the snowblowers.  However, we are not in the clear yet.
