dog park

I grew up in the country, the whole world was my dog's "park".  It wasn't until I moved to the city and saw the smaller yards that I understood the need for dog parks.  The first dog park in Duluth was introduced in 2004, the next in 2011, now we have a third.

A new dog park is being proposed at 28th Street and Wyoming Avenue in Superior, and residents are invited to a meeting on Tuesday, April 26 to learn more about the park.

I AM A DOG LOVER!  I am all for this!  The City of Duluth already has two dog parks, one at Observation Hill and another at Keene's Creek.  Now, another is being proposed, but will there be room for it?

Tails of Northland canines are wagging!  There's a new park in town just for them! (Human's welcome too, somebody has to drive!)  It took over 500 hours of volunteer's service to make the new dog park a reality. My Schnauzer Bauer and I personally thank those volunteers.

Dog owners in the Northland have to be excited by the result of the City Council meeting this week, where to subject of new dog parks in Duluth was discussed.

Some time ago I wrote a blog about dog-friendly places in the Northland.  I was surprised to find that there weren't that many parks on the list.  That can change and hopefully with your help, it will.  Your input is needed, mark your calendar for the upcoming Dog Park Task Force meeting.

Meet Ruemmele, lovingly referred to as Rum.  He is my beast, and one of the loves of my life, besides my husband and daughter.  The daughter agrees, the husband says, dislike, but secretly LOVES him.  Rum likes to venture outside of the confines of his four walls and explore the world.  I like to bring him out to show how CUTE and smart he is , so smart in fact, he has told me what he considers th
