Back in November, the Superior Police Department launched their mobile app called "SPDTip."  At the time, the app was only available for iPhone users.  Now the deparment has announced that the app can be downloaded for free on android phones as well.

From the Superior Police Department Press Release:

The Superior Police Department is launching an Android app, named “SPDTip”, which enables the public to send anonymous tips to the police department. The police can respond back, and have an anonymous “chat”, if the tipster chooses to have continued dialog. “SPDTip” puts a powerful new crime fighting tool into the hands of the community for all ages and demographics.

Community members with Android based phones are encouraged to visit the Google Play Store from their phones and search for “SPDTip”. The “SPDTip” app can be previewed at the following web page:

This link will also be available from the department’s web page and Facebook page as well.

Of course, you can also download the SPDTip app from Itunes.
