Spirit Halloween opened last year on August 27 in what had been the Shopko location on Central Entrance in Duluth. They then stayed open until until Monday, November 2.

After they closed, the Shopko building and surrounding land were ultimately sold to Furniture Mart USA, who paid $3 million for the building and 6.7 acres. That, of course, meant that Spirit Halloween would not be able to utilize that location again in 2021.

Well, it appears that not only is Spirit Halloween returning to Duluth in 2021, but they've also found another very convenient location for their customers to find them. As I was walking around the Miller Hill Mall recently, I saw a storefront that featured a sign announcing Spirit Halloween would be "Coming Soon".

Spirit Halloween will be filling the space just down from JCPenny and right next to the Beyond The Barn store. While there was no official opening date yet posted, one could assume it'll open no later than August as that's when they opened in 2020.

For those unfamiliar with the store:
