February is really coming in hot! After a midweek snowstorm brought us some snow this week, we have another round moving in this weekend.

This all comes after yet another mild start to winter, with very little snow leading into this month and pretty mild temperatures for the most part.

Now, things are starting to change a bit! This is exactly what one weather analyst predicted before the month started and it's turning out to be pretty spot on.

Now, we can expect 'significant' snow for parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin this weekend, with snow expected for the Northland.

Midwest Weather is forecasting this storm, which is set to move in late on Friday night (February 7th) and continue into Sunday. The good news is the heaviest snow will hit just south of us.

We will still see some light snow in the Duluth area. The National Weather Service of Duluth also shared details of what we can expect in our neck of the woods.

I personally don't mind a little snow! It definitely makes Duluth look pretty and it doesn't really feel like winter without a little snow on the ground. What I do not enjoy is winter driving.

One thing we can all agree on is that we need to clear ALL the snow off our car no matter how much snow we get. This morning I saw someone whose entire rearview was covered in snow. Don't be that person!
