I have had short hair for almost 20 years now.  I just can't get past that "point" to grow it long again and with my job, short hair is best.  But, how does one determine if it's THE hair style for you and your face structure?  They now have the 2.25 inch rule to determine that fact.  Have you ever wondered?

Celebrities are trending to cropped hair or at least shorter lengths than before and some look darling, like Kellie Pickler for example.  I've already got a short hair style so I wanted to measure to see if I'm where I should be with my hair style.  The results?  Not what I expected!

According to dailymail.com, you should use a ruler and a pencil to see if you are under the 2.25 inch rule.  Just put the pencil under your chin horizontally. Then place the ruler under your ear, vertically. Where the two intersection is the measurement you should use. If it is less than 2.25' short hair is grand, if not go longer.

Basically, if the distance between your ear and chin is under the 2.25 measurement, make an appointment and go for it.  You've got nothing to lose but hair!
