Sheriff Says Shot Was Fired At A Window At The South Ridge School
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says a window was likely shot at with a shotgun recently. They believe it occurred when students were not at the school. The damaged window was noticed and the deputies were called. The damaged window was in the gymnasium.
They determined that the staff and students were not in any danger.
According to an article in the Duluth News Tribune, the school was in lockdown during the investigation. Deputies arrived at 1pm with a reported quick arrival time. Deputies determined that the shot was fired sometime in the last day or so from the Swan Lake Rd direction. The incident remains under investigation.
