I've been busy trying to keep you in the know on the construction projects going on the Northland.  Whew, sometimes it's hard to keep up.  This week a section of Arrowhead Road will be impacted, here are the details to help plan your route.

Here's what the City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities workers will be doing.  Crews will be fixing and adjusting manholes starting today along Arrowhead Road between Carver Ave and Columbus Ave. They'll be removing and resetting castings and leveling out the manhole with the road surface.

Obviously because of the work they need to do and the relatively narrow street, crews will need to close off one lane at a time for a couple of days until the project is finished.

East bound traffic on Arrowhead Road will follow Carver Avenue south to St. Marie Street, then east on St. Marie towards Woodland Ave, then north onto Woodland Avenue and Arrowhead Road. West bound traffic on Arrowhead Road will be allowed to pass through the work zone in a single lane but at a reduced speed.

The work is expected to finish by July 10, weather permitting.
