A wide range of job opportunities, diverse cultural and social experiences, enhanced convenience, and higher-quality infrastructure are just some of the advantages of living in a larger city.
However, these perks often come with less favorable things, such as a higher cost of living, higher crime rates, and other issues. So, where then would be the best places to live when you want the benefits of a larger city without sacrificing safety?
A recent study analyzed a wide variety of metrics to find the 100 safest cities in America, and just one Wisconsin city made the list, and it had an impressive showing, coming in at #25.
Below you can see its total score, compared with other cities, and how it ranked in some key safety metrics. If you're wondering where Milwaukee ranked, it finished well outside of the top 100, landing at #147.
