After reading the that last year was the most deadly motorcyclists, I started doing research to see how we could combat that or at least reduce that number.  The Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) Motorcycle Safety Center (MMSC) suggests taking a training course,  whether it's your first license, or a refresher course .  It's affordable and you gain critical riding skills. Classes are coming to Duluth soon!

Courses start in April and are offered on specific dates and times, check the schedule and get it on your calendar:

They have incorporated special evening hours for testing to make it as convenient as possible for you, several exam stations are open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. one night per week.  Just remember, to use the program, you must:

  •  Provide your own helmet and eye protection
  •  Have a valid driver’s license
  •  Have a valid motorcycle instruction permit
