The Minnesota Department of Public Safety says now is the perfect time to think about motorcycle training courses and registration is open.

Now is when most motorcyclists start to think about riding they begin planning road trips and other rides they'll participate into summer.  Why not take it step further and enroll in a training course?

The Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Center has classes available for everyone, whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, and they provide quality courses:

The MMSC rider coaches are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation – that's a national non-profit that develops research-based rider training – and they’re dedicated to building and improving your riding skills. And considering that the MMSC has served Minnesota riders for more than 35 years with affordable, high-quality professional training and education, you can rest easy knowing you’re in good hands as a motorcyclist.

In the Northland, enrollment is open at Lake Superior College for three different motorcycle courses:

  • Motorcycle Basic Rider
