Our Northland Signature Golf Hole Tour continues this week - presented by Duluth Dodge, as we highlight the signature hole at courses on the 2022 Northland Golf Card.

What's a signature hole? It's that extra-memorable or unique hole that often stands as the "signature" element of the course. Whether a unique aspect to the green, an interesting hazard, a spectacular view, or any number of other things, these usually are the holes golfers tell their buddies about after visiting a course.

This week, we visited Pike Lake Golf & Beach Club, just up Highway 53 from Duluth. Since reopening a couple of years ago, a ton of work has been put into the course and other facilities that make this location a multi-use area to enjoy time by gorgeous Pike Lake.

The course at Pike Lake is an executive-length, 9-hole course. From the furthest tees, it shoots 2,242 yards. This par-32 course includes one par 5, three par 4 holes, and the remaining are par threes.

Along with the course, the facility offers a bar and restaurant to enjoy before or after your round, along with a beach area, playground, and other outdoor games to offer fun for the whole family through the season.

While Pike Lake features a handful of memorable holes, we felt the course's seventh hole stood out as a fun, but challenging hole that highlights what the course has to offer. Take a look at the hole and our tour of the course below!
