Outdoor Summer Kaleidoscope Series Begins At The Duluth Public Library
There is no reason that a child's mind should remain idle just because it's summer vacation. The Duluth Public Library helps make brain stimulation fun with their Kaleidoscope Series. They also try to make it parent friendly by offering two different times the free entertainment is offered on Tuesdays throughout the summer.
They are fun, educational and I just bet your kids will make new friends if you attend the Kaleidoscope Series. This week, Tuesday, July 11 will have you in stitches (laughing stitches, that is) with the comedy of a duo called "In Capable Hands". It's a husband and wife team that will dazzle you with their juggling ability (the only thing I can juggle is my checkbook). They have quick wit and can juggle just about anything, pizza, canned meat, pink flamingos, you name it! Yes, their act IS appropriate for all ages and all ages will be entertained! You may even have caught some of their act on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno!
Each Kaleidoscope performance this summer will run about 45 minutes long. There will be two performances offered, one at 10:30a and one at 1:30p. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on, however the library would appreciate if you left chairs and pets at home. (except for trained service animals). Special parking rates have been arranged for you at the 6th Avenue West Depot Lot. There is also an American Sign Language interpreter available for the afternoon performance.
If you need more information, please call the library's youth services department at 218.730.4200/option 4.
