Openers Announced For Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris At MN State Fair
Concert time! Openers have been revealed for two big headliners at the Minnesota State Fair, which is right around the corner.
The Minnesota State Fair has a stacked lineup this year, which is great considering it was cancelled in 2020 because of the pandemic. Now, after a long year without one of the biggest events in the state, it will be back and better than ever.
The Minnesota State Fair kicks off in late August and it always brings in thousands of people every year. This year will be no different and a big part of that will no doubt be the amazing concerts and free entertainment lineup.
Some of the headliners set to play the Minnesota State fair include pop duo The Chainsmokers and country heavyweight Tim McGraw. Midland will also be at the fair, opening for the latter.
There will also be the free entertainment concert lineup, which brings music to the fairground all day, every day of the event. There will be no shortage of entertainment this year!
Two of the biggest artists headlining the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand are Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris. Now, we know who will be opening their shows at the big event.
Miranda Lambert will perform on Thursday, August 26th. Lindsay Ell will serve as her opening act. Lindsay Ell has made a big name for herself in Nashville over the past few years and now will open for one of the biggest stars in the format. She is known for her killer guitar skills and released a critically-acclaimed album around this time last year.
Miranda was supposed to headline the event last year but obviously, that didn't happen because of the pandemic. Thankfully, they immediately rescheduled the show.
As for Maren Morris, she was announced as a last minute addition to the Minnesota State Fair. In early July, she was named a headliner and will take the stage the night after Miranda, on Friday, August 27th. Her openers will be Minnesota natives Patrick Murphy and Noah Schnacky.
Patrick Murphy is a singer and songwriter in Nashville who hails from Minnesota. He was born and raised in Perham and has opened for the likes of Kane Brown and Kip Moore. Meanwhile, Noah Schnacky is a Minnesota native who has a huge following on social media. He is also an up-and-coming country artist, who recently dropped a collaboration with Jimmie Allen.
The Minnesota State Fair kicks off on August 26th and continues through September 6th. You can get tickets to the shows on the fair's website as we speak.
