Old Farmer’s Almanac Makes Prediction For First Snowfall
Everyone remain calm.
The Old Farmer's Almanac has made their predictions for the month of September and it features the most dreaded word in the Northland: snow!
According to their predictions for September, we will be seeing snow near the end of the month.
The month will start off just like any other, with rain showers and warm conditions. Things will take a turn as we head into the last third of the month. From September 21st through the 25th, we will see rain turn to snow as temperatures turn much cooler. For the rest of the month, we will see rain and snow showers.
The Old Farmer's Almanac didn't give predictions in terms of how much snow we are looking at or exactly where it will strike but at least now we can start to prepare. Ha!
In case you aren't familiar, the Old Farmer's Almanac makes long-term weather predictions by region. Most of Minnesota and Wisconsin are grouped into the same region which means we are all in this together come winter time.
