Off Backyard Pretreat Backyard Control Results Mixed

A couple of weeks ago I blogged about trying a new product made by OFF that claimed to keep the bugs out of your yard.  Initially I was very impressed, but said I would let you know how the results lasted over time.

I think 3 weeks is enough time to let you know the results.  Which are, still improvement with bugs, but fading fast.

The following couple of days after I sprayed, the bugs were nearly completely gone.  It was wonderful.   Within about a week (after a couple of decent rain showers) it seemed to be wearing off.   By two weeks we were getting bit regularly again, however in comparison to my neighbor's yard, we still had less mosquitoes.

The instructions on the bottle says it lasts up to 8 weeks.   It doesn't.   However, that doesn't mean it still isn't a quality product.  For me, it's worth applying ever couple of weeks to keep the mosquito down.  At about 8 bucks a bottle, it's still cheaper than the amount of bug spray for your body.
