Northland Cidery Wants Your Apples To Make Special Batch
This is a pretty neat idea. How do you like them apples? It's apple season, and many people with apple trees have more than they can handle. You can only make so much apple pie and apple crisp and other dishes before you get overwhelmed.
Here's a perfect idea for what to do with those extra apples you have. A Northland cidery has come up with a great idea. It's called the 2024 Dulth's People's Cider.
Wild State Cider is asking for your apples. They are accepting donations at anytime they are open in the taproom. The last day for the drop off is Friday, October 4th.
They said they'll take all the apples and any variety. They even want your crab apples, and if you happen to have pears, they wouldn't turn them away.

They ask that the apples be intact and don't have cuts or major bruises. After October 4th, they will fresh-press all the apples together to create the 2024 Duluth's People's Cider.
The best part is that if you donate apples, you'll receive a crowler of the finished cider. So make sure you give your information to the bartender in the taproom when you drop off your apples.
You can find Wild State Cider at 2515 W Superior Street in Duluth, Minnesota. Their hours are Monday-Saturday Noon-10 pm, and Sundays Noon - 8 PM.
