Northern Minnesota Company Makes The List Of Fastest Growing In Midwest
There's a new list that was just published of the Midwest's Fastest-Growing Private Companies. I was happy to see that one of my favorite places has grown by 296% in just a couple of years!
Inc. Magazine recently shared its rankings of the fastest-growing companies within the Midwest's economy's independent small businesses.
The Midwest Region includes 11 states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Duluth's Wild State Cider Ranks High On The List
Duluth came in at number 2 for Minnesota companies on the list for growth. They've been in operation for just 5 years in Duluth, crafting their line of ciders. They've expanded from just two employees to now over 30.
Production at the cidery has increased to make them a top 20 manufacturer of alcohol producers in Minnesota.
They originally had their cider in Lincoln Park's craft district, but they moved it to a new facility where they can make up to 500,000 gallons of cider! That's incredible! How many cans can you fill with that? Roughly 5.3 million cans of cider.

Wild State Cider will soon be distributed to Colorado.
I had no idea that Wild State was so big. They distribute in 5 states and soon they will be launching Colorado distribution in a couple of weeks.
Wild State Cider #40 in the Midwest
Wild State Cider ranked high at #40 in the Midwest. They were second in Minnesota, just behind Direct Clicks, a Woodbury-based marketing company.
