New Restaurant Opening In Superior Next Month
Warning: reading this story will make your mouth water. A brand new restaurant is opening in Superior, Wisconsin next month and it looks amazing.
This is one of many amazing new restaurants that have opened in the Twin Ports recently. A new taco shop opened in the Lincoln Park area of Duluth back in May to great acclaim. The spot is called Hungry Hippie Tacos and it is the second location for the taco shop.
A supper club also opened recently in downtown Duluth. It is located at the top of the Radisson hotel, in the old JJ Astor location. It is called the Apostle Supper Club and an accompanying tiki bar also opened on the very same day.
A business called Yes, Cheese also opened recently in Superior. They celebrated their one-year anniversary this year and the spot is all about charcuterie boards and all the cheese you can imagine. Like I said, there is no shortage of new and amazing restaurants in the Twin Ports.
Now, we have yet another delicious spot opening in the Twin Ports, this time in Superior. The restaurant is called Mama T's Smokin' Eats and just by scrolling through the pictures on their Facebook page, I can tell it is going to be delicious!
They are officially opening on Monday, August 8th. They are currently renovating the space, sharing photos of the updates as they happen. They are painting and remodeling the spot, which is located at 6428 Tower Avenue South.
Mama T's Smokin' Eats will be located in the old Hacienda Bar & Grill location. The Hacienda closed last month. The owner announced they would be retiring after a quarter of a century! I am happy the space is getting a good use so shortly after closing.
The spot will have homemade southern comfort food and smoked meats. They have shared a few photos of what they will be offering, including mac and cheese and smoked meat sandwiches. Yum!
They will also have a full breakfast menu but not right away. They will launch a full breakfast menu after opening but will have homemade cinnamon coffee cake and coffee every Saturday and Sunday morning beginning the very first weekend after opening.
This will be more than a restaurant though: it will also have a pavilion and a space for live music and local bands to play. The pavilion will be 50 feet and will allow for outdoor seating. There will also be a pool table and a dart board for maximum fun.
When Mama T's Smokin' Eats does open their doors next month, the hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. You can keep up with the restaurant prior to opening on their Facebook page. Be aware: they post photos of their food and you don't want to see it if you're hungry. Ha!
