New Taco Shop In Lincoln Park Officially Open
Another business has moved into Duluth's Lincoln Park neighborhood and we couldn't be happier about this new addition. The new taco shop we learned of late last year has officially opened.
We first learned of the new taco shop in November of last year. The Development Tracker of Duluth shared that the spot was going to be moving into the area for its second location. Hungry Hippie Tacos is already a staple in Grand Marais.
I kept checking the taco shop's website and social media pages for updates ever since. The new shop is located at 1810 West Superior Street in the old vet clinic. They have a menu full of unique appetizers, frybread tacos and other favorites like quesadillas and chimichangas.
After teasing their opening date over the past few months, they surprised us all when they announced they were officially open for business, just in time for the long holiday weekend. They shared the exciting news on their Facebook page Friday (May 27th).
Of course, I had to go and see just how delicious the spot was for myself. I loved the vibe right away! It has a cool color scheme and a huge seating area inside and outside. In true Duluth fashion, it was too cold and windy to be able to eat outside but it is nice to know that is an option.
The service was also great and the portions were big! They offer the option of having rice and beans inside the tacos and other items, like the chimichanga I ordered, which I hadn't seen before. I also thought the price was great for what you get. I was very happy with it.
They also offer beer and other alcoholic beverages to wash your food down with. They also had merchandise for real taco enthusiasts. You can take a look at their full menu on their website, where they give more insight into the backstory of their business.
I think Hungry Hippie Tacos is a great addition to Lincoln Park! It has a great vibe, really good food and was quick and easy to sit down and eat! Next time, I am definitely going to try the Nashville cheese curds.
There have been a bunch of new additions to Lincoln Park lately! A new coffee shop just opened next door in the Enger Lofts building. It is called 190 Coffee & Tea and it also has a really cool vibe.
In the very same building, two other business also opened up shop. There is a new marketplace called Goat Hill Marketplace that opened just a few months ago and it has household necessities and items from local favorites in the area.
A local boutique also moved into the Enger Lofts building just down a block from Hungry Hippie Tacos. Liila Boutique opened in the building from a former space they occupied. The boutique sells clothes and accessories for women.
