My New Favorite Summer Sipper, Toasted Carmel Whiskey [Recipe & Video]
Believe it or not (HA!) Ken Hayes introduced me to my new favorite summer sipper quite by accident. We were out on a Saturday night at the Belknap Lounge and he had bought this as a shot for my husband. They were busy playing pool so I started sipping on it and by the time they were done, it was gone. It's Black Velvet Toasted Carmel and tastes like a Werther's Original, buttery and smooth, I just sip it on the rocks. But, my friend Kevin has come up with an excellent mix for a recipe you've got to try, especially if you like Crown Royal!
He calls it a Toasted Carmel Apple. It's super simple to make, just mix one part Black Velvet Toasted Carmel and two parts Crown Royal Apple, chilled over ice. (adjust to your personal taste). Then, kick back and sip :)
