Must See Video: An Out Of Control Snow Mobile Crashed Into The Garage Of A Minnesota Home
A family in Pelican Rapids Minnesota is counting their blessings after the damage that was caused to their garage door and home by an out-of-control snowmobile this past December. In the video which was recorded both in and outside of the home by Nest cameras, you can see a car pulling out of the driveway just minutes before the snowmobile comes into view.
Chaz Walters who owns the home received a call from his son telling him to come home right away, that somebody had crashed into their garage. What they found was a tangled mess of their garage door and other damage like his brand new snowblower.
According to Valley View News Live Walters said:
[I was] shocked! Trying to figure out what the hell happened. There are a lot of safety things that prevent things like this, stuff was bypassed. Things like having a tether to the key. If he would have fallen off it would have shut the thing down
By the looks of the outside view of the video, Walter may be right about the key being tethered to the driver because he did bail out towards the front of their yard. Obviously, something was stuck that the driver lost control of the snowmobile. You can hear the engine still running after it crashed into the garage.
The Walter's are grateful that nobody was hurt but they are slightly inconvenienced with a make-shift garage until Spring. No word on how much the damage cost to the garage and snowblower. I am wondering if the guy who lost control of the snowmobile has gotten back on one after this scary incident. Check out the videos below:
