The MN Super Bowl Committee has just wrapped up their 52 weeks of giving campaign with their legacy fund.  The project was aimed at helping organizations and communities in promoting the health and wellness of kids and families.

The recipients across the state received grant money that totaled 5.5 million dollars, and each of the 52 programs selected will also receive another check for $1,475.  There have been several local organizations that have been selected as award winners throughout the campaign.

  • The City of Duluth received grant money for the City Parks
  • Virginia received money for their parks department
  • Fon Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa
  • Grand Rapids Second Harvest Food Bank

The committee hopes that the highlight of a successful Super Bowl and their 52 Weeks of Giving campaign will inspire a healthier more active generation of Minnesota kids.
