Miranda Lambert won't take the stage at the Minnesota State Fair this year as planned, as the big event was cancelled for 2020 due to COVID-19.

The country star was set to hit the stage on Thursday, August 27th. She will be returning to play the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand in 2021 but a new date has not yet been announced.

If you already bought tickets, there are a few things to note:

  • Your ticket WILL be valid for the 2021 show.
  • Your seat will be in the same location.
  • If you want to attend the show in 2021, you do not need to take any action. Just keep your ticket handy until next year.

If you do have tickets to the show but won't be able to attend the new date in 2021, email the following information to tickets@mnstatefair.org:

  • The name on the ticket order
  • The order I.D. name for your tickets
  • The number of tickets you purchased
  • Your phone number
  • Your email
  • Your mailing address

Tickets will be refunded within 30 days of the request. Your will receive the full price of the tickets plus the service fees that accompanied your purchase. If you paid in cash, your refund will be mailed back to you.

As of now, ticket sales are on hold. You will have to wait until a new date is announced to purchase tickets to the show in 2021. You can get more information on the postponed show on the Minnesota State Fair's website here.

Just a few days prior, Tim McGraw pulled all his tour dates for 2020, including his show at the Minnesota State Fair this summer. A new date for that show has not been announced.
