
Minnesota Named A Top State For Quality Of Life
In my opinion, Minnesota is an underrated state. To those that have never visited the state, we are nothing more than an arctic place with nothing to do.
Yes, it is very cold here but those that are born and raised in Minnesota are used to it. It is all I know so to me, it isn't that bad. There's also so much to do!

I get it, though. It's hard to get the real feel of a state unless you've visited. Every time a friend has come to visit me here, they end up shocked at how much it has to offer.
Now, a new study is revealing what we already know: Minnesota provides a pretty great quality of life.
Minnesota Named A Top 10 State For Business In 2025
CNBC released a list this month naming the top states for business. Minnesota came in at number ten, meaning it is one of the top ten states for business this year.

A big part of how they came up with this list is quality of life and that's where Minnesota really shined. This ties into business because companies want to attract the best people and candidates, and those looking for a job might need to relocate.
Minnesota Is One Of The Best States For Quality Of Life
In this instance, Minnesota has the fourth best quality of life in the country. Quality of life here looks into crime rate, health care and child care, air quality and inclusiveness, among a few other factors.

Analysts also looked at livable wage policies, inclusiveness in state laws and more. The study also looked at economy, infrastructure and the cost of doing business, all which leads back to quality of life.
What Other States Have Great Quality Of Life & Which Do Not?
According to this one, Vermont, Maine and New Jersey have the highest quality of life. These are the only places that top Minnesota! The worst? Texas, Indiana and Tennessee.
Wisconsin came in at number thirty-eight. Yikes! Better luck next year?
