We are all about our gas stations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. It's probably a midwest thing, right?

We all have a deep obsession with Kwik Trip and all of the other good spots we have to stop for gas and a treat but one thing we don't have is a Buc-ee's store.

What is Buc-ee's & why is everyone obsessed?

Buc-ee's is a gas station wonderland of sorts that has been around since 1982. They offer one-of-a-kind road snacks, delicious and gourmet meal options and even merchandise.

You really have to see it to believe it! I went to my first one in Houston a few years ago and it really was magical. They are famous for their beef jerky, snacks and bathrooms. (Yes, really.)

The store has really surged in popularity lately, even scoring a few world records along the way and garnering a cult following along the way. So why isn't there a location in Minnesota and could there be soon?

Could Buc-ee's Come To Minnesota?

As of now, the superstore is in a handful of states, with most of their locations in Texas. However, it's totally possible one could open here because Wisconsin is getting one!

Any logistical problems that might arise from opening a store in Wisconsin have been squashed, making a Minnesota location seem like a great idea and an easy one, too!

The chain is also opening a location in Ohio as well, so they are definitely headed north. Will 2025 be the time for a Buc-ee's in Minnesota? It's definitely not off the table and I have already decided just where it should go.
