The City of Superior's Old Firehouse was built in 1898 and opens to the public now for self-guided tours.  The tours give you a look into the early days of firefighting and then details the progression and improvements throughout the years.

In order to raise funds to keep the museum open, and maintained, there will be a mini-golf outing on Monday, August 19th, from 5:00PM-7:00PM.

The outing will be a family event so bring the kids.  The cost is just $7 per person and there will be hotdogs, chips, and of course, mini-golf.  All of the proceeds from the event will go to support the Old Firehouse and Police Museum.  Local firefighters and police officers will be onsite as well to talk with the kids.

It's being held at Capt'n J's Mini-Golf which is right next to the SS Meteor Whaleback Museum on Barker's Island, located at 300 Marina Drive in Superior, WI.  You can get more information on this event here.
