If you haven't heard of King Calaway, you will soon!

The up-and-coming country band is made of six members from all over the world. They scored the opening slot on night one of Garth Brooks' two-night stay at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Prior to their opening gig, they stopped to talk to press, where I learned something very interesting: one of the members has Minnesota ties!

Austin Luther, shown above on the far right, hails from the Land of 10,000 Lakes!

The country star was born and raised in Marshall, Minnesota. He graduated from Marshall High School in 2012 and the rest is country music history.

When I talked to him before his opening slot at U.S. Bank Stadium, he said that all of his friends and family were coming to see him play and that it was surreal to be back in his home state opening for one of country music's biggest stars.

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they are on a stage accepting a major award. We will say we knew him when!
