Man Accuses Twin Cities Restaurant of Racism Over Dress Code
According to Matt Briggs Facebook Post, a Twin Cities restaurant discriminated against an African American in their group. Allegedly Last Call MN in the warehouse district refused to let a black man in citing that his clothes were too baggy. Matt Briggs posted a photo of that man's outfit compared to his own, showing that there was no difference except for the color of his skin.
Fox 9 did a story on this and showed more in depth of what happened. It appears that his brother in law Mohamed Osman was the last in the group and was asked to step aside citing his dress code. Then he was eventually let in, but the group was already upset enough that they decided to leave.
The owner has not responded to the interview requests of Fox 9.
