Minnesota Twins Hosting A Free Postgame Wrestling Event This Summer
Recently, I wrote about a special event coming to Minnesota's Target Field this summer, with Ludacris performing a free postgame concert on June 26 following the Twins vs. Rockies game.
It's also a night when fans can enjoy a pregame Happy Hour with $2 beers, hot dogs, and snacks.
Now, the Minnesota Twins have done it again — and this one is genuinely unlike anything Major League Baseball has ever done before.
Wrestling Is Coming To Target Field
The Twins and All Elite Wrestling have announced Brawl in the Ballpark, the first-ever AEW event held at a Major League Baseball stadium, which will take place on Friday, July 10, at Target Field following the Twins vs. Los Angeles Angels game.
First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. CT, and the Brawl begins shortly after the final out, running approximately 75 minutes.

The event will feature stars from both AEW and Ring of Honor (ROH) competing in a specially constructed wrestling ring set up inside Target Field's Gate 34 area. Admission to Brawl in the Ballpark is free with any ticket to that night's Twins-Angels game.
"We're excited to partner with AEW to bring a one-of-a-kind night to Target Field on July 10," said Twins Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Sean Moore. "This collaboration is part of our ongoing efforts to create memorable, fan-first experiences that give people even more reasons to enjoy a visit to our ballpark."
AEW CEO Tony Khan promises an "unforgettable" night of Elite Wrestling action in a very cool location.

How To Get Tickets
Tickets to the game and the event also include another Twins' pregame Happy Hour with $2 beers, hot dogs, and snacks from 5:00 to 7:10 p.m. CT. There are four ways to attend:
- Game Ticket: Any ticket to the July 10 Twins-Angels game includes free admission to Brawl in the Ballpark. Purchase now at twins.com/tickets.
- Brawl in the Ballpark Theme Night Package: Includes a game ticket plus an exclusive co-branded Twins/AEW Lucha mask hat—limited availability at twins.com/brawl.
- Brawl in the Ballpark VIP Package: Includes a game ticket, the Lucha mask hat, and VIP ringside access—limited availability at twins.com/brawl.
- Brawl in the Ballpark Truly on Deck Package: Includes a reserved seat at the Truly On Deck outdoor patio for both the game and the Brawl — with a great aerial view of the ring — plus the Twins/AEW Lucha mask hat and $30 in loaded food and beverage value. Available while supplies last at twins.com/brawl.
Between the $2 Happy Hour, a Twins game, and a free AEW wrestling card to cap the night, July 10 is shaping up to be one of the more memorable Friday evenings Target Field has offered. I may show up for the Lucha mask hat alone.
