With the horrible winter-like weather we've had recently, I had almost forgotten that the Twins baseball season had actually started.  They probably feel the same after having three home games in a row postponed.  The good news is that the season is underway and the club has announced makeup dates for those postponed games.

According to Twinsbaseball.com, here is the official makeup schedule and related details:

Original Date: Friday, April 13th at 7:10 pm

Makeup Date: Tuesday, June 5th at 3:10 pm as part of a straight doubleheader (2nd game will start approximately 30 minutes after the first game finishes). The Brian Dozier & Byron Buxton T-Shirt giveaway presented by Budweiser for the first 10,000 fans 21+ (Adult M/XL) will also be moved to the Tuesday, June 5th games. Jackie Robinson Day, originally planned for April 15, will also be moved to game one of the straight doubleheader.

The options for fans holding tickets to the April 13 game are:

  • Utilize the value of their ticket (the amount paid) as a voucher toward any future Twins regular season game in 2018. Fans may apply the paid value of their ticket to seats in any Target Field seating area, based on availability. Any exchanges must be made at the Target Field box office at least 48 hours prior to the rescheduled game.
  • Tickets for the games that are part of the Spring Ballpark Pass will be good for both games of the doubleheader on June 5th and cannot be exchanged.
  • Tickets for the postponed game are not subject to refunds.

Original Date: Saturday, April 14th at 1:10 pm

Makeup Date: Friday, September 28th at 1:10 pm as part of a split doubleheader (2nd game remains at original 7:10 pm start). Twins Plaid Flap Cap giveaway presented by Pepsi for the first 10,000 fans for will also be moved to the Friday, September 28th 1:10 pm game.

If you had tickets to any of the games and have questions, you are encouraged to call 800-33-TWINS (9467) or visit Twinsbaseball.com.

The Twins were off to a good start, hopefully they can pick up right where they left off.  Target Field is a lot of fun and even better when the Twins win.
